OMG, Where have you been all my life?!?
As a former teacher, daily NYC commuter, and a backpack aficionado, I’m always on the lookout for an EDC that’s slim, professional looking and weather proof, and the new, slim laptop backpack ticks all those boxes and more!
First, let’s talk features:
-The backpack has a slim profile, which is perfect for trains and subways and is super lightweight, so it won’t bother those of us with back problems.
-Short people rejoice!—This backpack fits perfectly on my 5’2” frame unlike most other bags that aggravate my neck and back because they’re so big.
-The laptop compartment is lined on both sides with plush fleece, and has 2 cross straps to hold your laptop in place, which fits my 13” MacBook Pro perfectly!
-So many pockets! There’s a slim front pocket with mesh lining that can be accessed from either the outside or inside the main compartment. The main compartment is pretty roomy, and has a small zipped mesh compartment on the front wall above the other zipped mesh compartment. On thé back wall, you’ll find a sewn in storage board, which has 3 pen slots, another small mesh zippered pocket, and 3 fine-mesh pockets at the bottom (similar to the laptop section in the Taskin One). The pocket pulls out accordion style, with a large open mesh pocket on the back of the storage board, which fits my 11-inch iPad Pro (with case) perfectly with additional room for notebooks, documents.
